Meet the Artist
About Me,
As an artist, my priority is to consistently grow in this new lifestyle and career. I was raised in Bellingham, Massachusetts and had many opportunities to thrive in creativity with music and art. I impatiently worked through high school, waiting for the freedom of college and all that was to come after. Although, my future took a turn that was wonderfully unpredictable!
I attended 2 different colleges, took a gap year in between, and applied to a 3rd college before finding my love for tattooing. I had changed majors about 3 times, and at one point, had a minor in statistics. After saving all my money from my gap year, I started getting tattooed in Salem Ma. I learned a lot more about the industry, met wonderful people, and felt inspired to commit to the idea of building a portfolio to apprentice. I was encouraged by friends and family to pursue a career as an artist after my first semester. My peers had a lot of convincing to do, I was stubborn in my ambition. Eventually, their cheering reached its goal. In Spring of 2020, I left college and worked many different full time jobs while seeking an apprenticeship. I contacted and worked with numerous artists for a year to just build a bold portfolio.
In February of 2021 the hard work finally paid off. I had an interview with Mike Christie at Studio Thirteen Tattoos in Salem Ma and started an apprenticeship right away. It was an honor to apprentice beside the talented artists there at the studio. I am now a licensed tattoo artist and I look forward to becoming a better artist every day. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information or questions about how I came to tattoo from such an uncertain start!
